Ну пожалуй, действительно не по делу и ни о чём Ворд-пресс - это и есть один сплошной блог, а Жумла в отличии от первого позволяет делать портал. Вот если бы можно было ВП запихнуть в Жумлу в качестве модуля - это бы ещё вариант Хотя эта идея тоже не нова - ещё несколько лет назад обсуждалось по форумам и кто-то даже грозился такое реализовать - может уже и существует сие, как оптимальный выход. Хотя может сие и недостижимо - лицензия ВП может и не позволить внедрять его в качестве модулей

А чем стандартные функции не устраивают. Там вполне можно выводить записи на главную...

Да реально хорошего блога на j к сожалению до сих пор нет, не заточена она под это, ведь j это прежде всего новостной движок

Есть приличные компоненты блогов

Не устраивает? Есть интеграция с WordPress - самый мощьный движок блогинга

Но любое из расширений нужно дорабатывать напильником
