я с такими вещами поступаю просто:
захожу на сайт с установленной темой откуда надо вырезать закодированный элемент, открываю html через браузер, копирую код нужного места и заменяю им закодированую херь в файле... удаляю ненужные ссылки и текст.

для начала можно и расходировать этот копирайт и потом удалять.
 
Ребят, ради информации, попадаются темы. в которых закодированно обращение к функции, Так вот юзаем EFS и убираем функцию , а не начинаем просто удалять футер)
