для описанных целей действительно лучше, а главное надежнее использовать специально разработанные для этих целей вордпресс или ливстрит.
А в жомле, даже если сторонние компоненты у Вас и заработают так как Вам нужно, Вы в лучшем случае получите нагрузку на сервер, в худшем - дыру.

Лучше всего. ЧПУ есть, теги есть, категории есть, капча есть, коменты есть.
Нету только плагинов интеграции с CB, хотя может пропустил чего-то…

Народ, вот ковыряла я idoblog. Установился норм, вроде все так, как надо. Но. У меня на сайте общий профиль для зарегистрированных пользователей от Kunena (форум). Альфа юзер поинт прикручен более или менее - есть плагин интеграции. А вот с этим зверем idoblog не знаю... Как сделать, чтобы он ссылался на профиль Kunena и загружал данные оттуда?
И еще заморочка. Пользователь, создавая запись в своем блоге, имеет возможность вставлять (загружать) картинки на сайт. При этом директория выводится общая (media/stores или image/stories - не помню, но та, что по умолчанию стоит). Так вот... как сделать, чтоб отдельная папка была? Не хочется, чтобы юзеры шарились по этой папке.
Вариант решения вижу в установке редактора JCE и создания специального редактора для юзеров, где кнопку картинки можно убрать... Но это радикальная мера.
Поделитесь соображениями, плз. Хотелось бы адекватно настроить.

На блог, да и просто как СКК использую Для просмотра ссылки Войди или Зарегистрируйся - шаблонами там можно спокойно решить, а если Flexiaccess поставить (ACL) - вообще всё что угодно сделать можно. Правда с поиском пока проблемы(простой). Да и его обсуждение на русском Для просмотра ссылки Войди или Зарегистрируйся

Тут поступили хорошие новости... JFusion обещают с версией 2.0 выпустить полнофункциональный плуг для WordPress... Спонсоры найдены, разработка ведется, требуются бетатестеры... В дальнейшем планируется поддержка MU
